The No Fly Zone, where you put your shoes on before your socks.
This week, our good friend “Boogie” Cousins ventured into this renowned area of the world. Why do you ask? Because once again, he got made a fool of himself and further showed why he will never be a superstar as long as he acts the way he does.
I mean c’mon man, your the face of the Sacramento Kings; a team that hasn’t been to the playoffs since 2006 and hasn’t been a contender since 2002. There is no reason for you to get ejected from a game. Especially a game against the defending champions that you had a chance to win had you been able to control your emotions. But no, you had to throw a tantrum and be a little girl to the officials who already don’t like you. Congratulations Boogie, you are quickly becoming the next Rasheed Wallace; a player whose amazing talent will be overshadowed by a bad attitude and even worse sportsmanship. No, we have not forgotten what happened against the Clippers. The Sacramento Kings, on paper, can be a 50 win team no problem. They have the core in Rondo, Gay, and Cousins, but the identity of the team needs to change and that starts with the franchise player in Cousins.
Congratulations again Mr. Cousins! We hope we don’t see you in this area of the skies again. Godspeed!
